Anyone else see it today. They are showing the man who stands there and yells. JC Stroble is his name. Nice little piece on him.

Seems it was a repeat from last month? Oh well, just in case anyone else missed it, like me.

On the Road: The caller of the Beacon Diner - CBS News Video

Never been, probably will never go, but nice to see this piece.

Although I don't eat there often, never did, I can't remember a day without seeing JC at the Beacon. This was great story about JC and how he pushed all of his children to attend college.

Yes, they shot the story while in the Upstate for the GOP Presidential debate at Wofford College. They also shot a story at Proterra and CU-ICAR in Greenville that week.

I have seen it twice on TV in the last month. Its a nice little story and people seem to enjoy themself at the restaurant. His family has done well for themself thanks to Mr Stroble.

Unfortunately its not a restaurant I would be able to eat at, but if I could I would also enjoy going.
