Noticed today the old Sofa Express Store on Haywood is being demolished. Anyone know whats going there? I suspect either Spinx or QT but not sure. Nice to see some new development on Haywood and an old vacant store bite the dust.

I heard QT was looking for a spot on Haywood Road and that piece of land is about the right size. Makes sense. Glad to see that building going away.

The old Sofa Express store is becoming a Self Storage place according to the sign in front. I hope they aren't planning on putting up some ugly chain type fence around it. I know the city has some strict zoning regarding signs on Haywood and I hope the same goes for fencing. This is not what I was hoping for that piece of property. I know the city plans on transforming that corridor so I hope they are watching.
