A friend of mine is without a job right now and needs some dental work. She has no dental insurance and I was wondering if perhaps there is a dental school around that she could go to for a reduced rate.

Know of any?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe New Horizon Family Health Services offers dental care now. If someone does not have insurance, they may qualify to pay at a reduced rate (sliding scale fee). I believe the phone number is 864-351-2400.

Additionally, I think Greenville Tech may operate a dental clinic (but I don't know much about that.) Try calling the school at 864-250-8126. (This number is from the school's website. It mentions it under dental clinic info and availability, but website does not go into much detail.) Good luck to you!

Greenville Free Clinic check with these folks on MOST if not all medical AND dental needs. I used them for 8 yrs and they were very nice folks Dental I belive is Tuesdays and they use students [with instructors there] to do some of the work.

It might be out of the way, but you can check with the Medical University of South Carolina's James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine.
