If Judge Judy has taught me anything, it's that yes, it's legal if the landlord follows proper procedures.

I was wondering if it was against any sort of county ordinances against having huge messes in your front yard. (like the law that apparently exists in Charleston) Or is that legal too?

edit: "Junk, trash, rubbish, and debris" is not allowed to be littered on your premises , I guess it is open for interpretation whether furniture counts as "junk". http://www.greenvillecounty.org/Code...ment/Codes.asp

If one is evicted, he or she has a timeframe to clear his or her belongings out of the space. Anything left over after the effective date becomes property of the landlord. The landlord can decide what to with that property.
