The impact of a loss of a legal and illegal workforce is much greater than most realize. While most love to preach how immigrants are some how tax exempt from EVERYTHING the truth is immigrants and illegal immigrants contribute MILLIONS in tax dollars that they will never ever receive benefits from.

Legal, non-resident aliens who purchase goods from Walmart, buy gas, register their cars, have taxes withheld from paychecks are contributing to the social services that you and I benefit from. But they will never see a penny of.

Illegal workers with fake documents pay taxes, social security, but get no return.

So while slow to be noticed, if the trend continues it WILL have an impact on our state.

lololol I had the same reaction. They act like it's bad to say illegal. It's just as illegal in their countries to overstay as it is here. It's an economic reality that you must try to maintain balance for the good of local workers. Trust me if I could just up and move to Monaco or Tahiti I'd do it in a heartbeat! lololol

It is a tall order in a City that has an average gas price today of $4.20.
I hope you didn't think I was for the companies dragging folks in from across the border. I think that was a bad thing. I'm not mad at the laws. Their goal is a good one.
