A major international company with no prior presence in the upstate and a global reputation as a powerhouse in the industry, energy and healthcare sectors is rumored to be considering a significant assembly facility in Greenville Co.

Wow, the businesses just keep coming in out there. That's great for your economy! Not like here in CA, they all leave, because CA is so expensive to do business & they don't give tax breasks to get businesses in. Not too smart!

Kind of a tangent here, but I've heard that the majority of companies relocating or opening in Texas (another big pro-business state) the past couple years came from California.

The Siemens facility is only going to have 50 jobs max. Meh.

This is true! Texas seems to have a lot of work. But not the place I would choose to live!!

Heck, Siemens is big time! Let them get a foot in the door and before long I bet they'll either expand this facility or find a reason to relocate something else to this state or area!
