The only addition to Greenville is the Real Estate Development program.

Quote:
In action related to academic programs, the trustees approved several changes in future locations:
  • MBA programs, MS Marketing and MS Management from Clemson at the Falls to Greenville One in downtown Greenville
  • Master of Professional Accountancy from University Center of Greenville to Clemson at the Falls for a move to Greenville One
  • Master of Real Estate Development from main campus to Greenville One

There was no need for correction or castigation. Your original post was accurate. I merely provided additional information for clarification.

They still needs jobs to accomodate those degrees. Not just in Greenville, but in the outlying areas too.

Recent Clemson University graduates are highly ranked nationally for average ROI (return on investment). The school's programs in downtown Greenville offer very marketable post-graduate degrees in major industries with an established local presence. Most (if not all) of the students in these programs already work locally.

I graduated in May from the program and I'd say it's about 75/25 split of those already working in their field. It makes for a diverse classroom experience that helps learning. It was nice have the program in the Bowater building because it was next to Falls Park and you could study/wait for class out there but the building is showing its age and the layout is not optimal at all for classes. The rooms are too small and there were never enough outlets. I am sure the new location in One will solve these problems. With the Piazza finished, this will be a beautiful area to study and people watch.
