Do you know any notary in Greenville who can notarized documents free? I checked with the bank of america but they said it is only for BOA customers. UPS store is charging $5 per document. I want to get notarized few documents for my parents and they don't have bank a/c anywhere in USA as they are visitors here.

Five bucks is pretty cheap. Not too many do it for free, unless you are a friend, or you work in a place that offers notary services.

I sent you a private message. I work at a bank in Taylors and will be glad to notarize the documents for you, of course, at no cost.

Ask your secretary at work, you'd be surprised how many notaries are out there. Plus you can get something notarized for a cookie.

AAA should have a notary on staff. Notary's aren't supposed to make more than the cost of supplies so don't go to the UPS store as they are overcharging!

UPS overcharges big time!!! I went to them years ago and they over charged me then. I wouldn't charge anyone PER DOCUMENT. If you are going to sign a bunch of documents, one fee is more than enough. But the notary signature can be charged up to 5 or 6 dollars per signature. I just think UPS rips people off. JMHO

Is there anyone around the downtown Greenville area that could help me with getting a document notarized for a small fee? I called the public library and even though they have notaries, they don't offer the service to the public. I also do not have a local bank account so no luck there. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Check with the UPS store.

I can't remember the exact cost, but less than $10 IIRC.

Thanks but they closed and took all my mail with them (I was out a box holder and out of town for a month). I realize there are other locations but does anyone else think $10 is too much? Shouldn't a notary be a public service or a few dollars a page?
