I'm loving all of the new lighting and buildings that are going up. It's making the city so beautiful at night. It's an exciting time for us in and around Greenville. Seems like something is going on at every corner. Sure all of the road construction is a pain, but it should make our rides into and out of town so much easier. I also love how Greenville is reaching out to tie the rest of the region in with transit options. I know many are against this, but some need this even if we don't. I makes the area that more desirable to companies and people. I know this area isn't for everyone. But for those of us that like it, it's good for us. Thanks for the space!

Wish they would fix the lights on I-85. What's the point of paying to have them installed if you can't keep up with maintenance? SCDOT at its finest.

Yep. Unfortunately the city doesn't own those. SCDOT is definitely lousy. At least they are paving to fix the ruts. Doing everything they can not to widen it, but it's inevitable.

Yes, I noticed the lights on the Pleasantburg/385 ramps were dead the other night. Thats a major on and off area, the ramps are kind of winding and with the convention center being there they should have them working.

Yeah it's all great just as long as we aren't on the hook for it. I wonder who is paying for it and how much it is costing and whether someone other than us has decided WE will be paying for it in big BALLOON payments in fees and higher taxes down the road.

True. I think most of it is a federal grant from the government.
