The website mentioned "stop light adjustments". Well not sure what happened, but on Saturday the traffic signals were definitely off synch. Traffic was probably the worst that I've ever seen.

There were major closures / detours on Woodruff rd on Saturday through Sunday morning which was likely the biggest part of that problem.

Yep. That was posted above by Psychoma with a link to a story on Fox Carolina. People must have missed it.
Some might find it extremely appropriate that the third most dangerous intersection in the country is named after him. Greenville has three of the top 10 in fact, which is a horrible indictment of the state of the roads around here.
For the first time in about 3 years, I saw what appeared to be routine traffic enforcement / monitoring this morning through the zone.
I see someone tagged one of the walls with a huge graffiti.
There are several walls with graffiti on them. I was told through email that it will be cleaned up before full project completion. SCDOT will not accept the project from the contractor until it is cleaned up.
