Coming to downtown in the near future:

1) Diner 24 on Coffee Street.
Diner 24 will be Greenville’s first 24-hour diner with ’50s-style décor, jukeboxes on the tables and sparkly booths in the former Charlie’s Steakhouse location on Coffee Street. Diner 24 is expected to open in late summer 2016.

2) Biscuit Head
In addition to their signature cat-head biscuits, the restaurant specializes in homemade gravies, jams and hot sauces. Along with many other accolades, Food & Wine magazine recognized Biscuit Head in as one of the best places for biscuits in America. With two successful locations in Asheville, the corner of Church and University Ridge location will mark Biscuit Head’s debut in Greenville.
Diner 24 sounds like a neat place and will fit right in. It's nice to know it will be open 24 hours as well.

Bikas in Taylors, Fluor Haven in Taylors and Everyday Organic in Cherrydale have a good breakfast. I've also eaten at Eggs Up downtown and Nose Dive which were both good.
