Anywhere in Greenville to get nice wood maybe even reclaimed? (AKA somewhere other than the bowed and knotty china crap from lowes and home depot?)
Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for - but, there was recent thread in the Charleston sub-forum specifically mentioning Architectural Warehouse (in Landrum).

Other local outfits that may be of interest:

Old House Salvage
Mobili Farm Tables

Lastly, the Greenville Woodworkers Guild may be able to offer salvaged/reclaimed wood opportunities in the Upstate.

I do not think Achitectural Warehouse qualifies as a lumber yard. It is an antique furniture and item store with two locations in Landrum and Tryon, North Carolina.

For local lumber yards in Greenville, there are McKinney Lumber & Hardware, 84 Lumber and GBS Building Supply to get you started.

The Lumber Yard on Mauldin Road may be an option to consider. You may also want to check out the wood businesses in Donalds, SC.

If you join the Greenville Woodworkers Guild as linked in the first reply you'll have access to a warehouse full of regular and exotic woods at wholesale pricing. If you do a lot of woodwork it's worth the $100-150 they ask for dues each year.
