Great news, but the original article was updated to reflect the 4 million dollar investment.

Greenville-based Carbures USA is planning another expansion which will more than double their facility size in the Beechtree Business Park at the South Carolina Technology & Aviation Center. While the automotive and aerospace industries have been their primary focus, they are also working with the Florida Department of Transportation on potential infrastructure projects (repairing/fortifying bridges).

Which wouldn't be in need of a supplier in Greenville.......had Charleston not landed the Boeing plant.

Boeing isn't gonna ask for suppliers in Greenville for a plant in Seattle.

We brought Boeing. Now, spinoff investment comes your way. Just like the inland port coming to the upstate....which is possible because of the massive Charleston Port. Or how BMW is in the upstate...because it can ship cars through Charleston. We see dozens of them parked off East Bay Street's port terminal all the time.

Again....you're welcome. Glad we could help

I see somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Carbures supplies other companies like Proterra and Airbus in addition to Boeing. Charleston brought Boeing? I don't think so. More like the state of South Carolina as a whole did through tax incentives. BMW could ship cars through Savannah if it wanted to.

Greenville's economy is largely dependent on Charleston. The Greenville News said so themselves: http://www.greenvilleonline.com/arti...nclick_check=1

"The Port of Charleston is vital to the Upstate. Some of this region’s top employers — BMW, Michelin and General Electric, to name a few — are among the port’s best customers, and the vast majority of manufacturing employees in the Upstate work for companies that ship goods overseas"
