Anybody live in the Botany Woods / Edwards Road area of Greenville? I was wondering how you like it and any cons in living in that area. I'd like to live in a wooded area.

I really like this area. It is 15 minutes to most parts of town. 15 to Greer, 15 to Woodruff Rd, 15 to downtown.

Yeah, it is also equi-distant from my two favorite chain steakhouses, OUtback and Texas Roadhouse.

I used to live not to far from there in the Beacon Ridge apartments with the green roof on top of the hill.

I live in the Botany Woods area and love it. You can't beat the affordable home prices, proximity to downtown and Haywood Road/Woodruff Road shopping. When I wake up, I hear birds singing and in the evening I see fire flies. I have very mature trees, a huge yard and am close to everything.

Oh and I only pay county taxes, not city.

Botany Woods is a very nice neighborhood. It has many large homes that hold their value.
