Wonder if the demolition is a prerequisite for the sale of the land? Also possible they could be doing some sort of long term land lease that you sometimes see with fast food restaurants.

Default Former Citgo Location

Was told by SCDOT engineer 2/25/21 ago that the existing owner is pursuing a new tenant and new driveway permits were in progress. He indicated it should be resolved in the coming weeks, so it should be complete by now. However, I have not seen any further progress since my discussion with him. I have asked about future tenant and will relay what I find out.

Are ya'll sure it's fast food? Maybe it's a bank, dollar store or free standing Starbucks. Seems to be the three things getting built these days around the area.

Scuffletown rd. is an embarrassment. Do you think that parcel will be affected by a potential turn lane etc ? The road construction barrels have been on-site from the intersection with Woodruff to just past the Sportsclub for a while now.
