I can tell you that during the academic year, it is painfully crowded.
The pools are great, but are often reserved for practices, fitness classes, etc. The other fitness classes (yoga, pilates, etc.) work on a strange "ticketing" system, where those who show up first are given tickets to reserve a place in the class. If you don't get your ticket, you don't get in the class.
I've never been in the weight room, so I can't tell you anything about that. The other fitness equipment, treadmills, etc. are all adequate.
Parking is horrible if you're a non-student/employee - forget about parking anywhere close to the door.
Fike may offer the most amenities on paper (and even a reasonable price), but I would suggest Gold's Gym in Clemson (they have lots of classes), or the Central-Clemson Rec Center (they have a pool) as better options. It all depends on what kind of workouts you're looking to do, I suppose.

well I was looking for weight machines and their racquetball courts, they have like 10 of those. DOesn't appear to be any other place in Clemson-Seneca-Pendleton-Central to play racquetball. I like to shoot some basketball too but it seems like those courts were always packed out all the time when I was a student in late 90s.
I am probalby going to locate to north Anderson instead b/c they have a nice new YMCA there and Anderson has more restaurants and closer to Greenville. Plus I won't have to deal with Clemson football game traffic if I don't want to.
I think those college kids will make me feel old. I might get depressed going in there which isn't the point. LOL
I work out at the Furman PAC and it doesn't make me feel old and I am 42. Of course I am in better shape than most of the students.
I would think that Furman's club has more older members because it is near more people but not as many students. It isn't so much about feeling older than about feeling like the older guy who is there to look at the young women. I used to see some guys like that at Clemson, especially downtown. I don't want to be that guy or look like I might be that kind of guy.

Oops, I'm not supposed to gawk?!? Just kidding, I do know what you mean in that regard. I mainly go there to swim but do spend some time using the other equipment there. I try to keep my eyes to myself. I have been going there for about five years and haven't had any issues yet.
