Default Travelers Rest "Polar Express" Dec 12 and 13

December 12 and 13: GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail Polar Express

6:00 pm-8:00 pm
This year, as part of the TRPD Toy Drive, we are planning a mini train ride down the old Swamp Rabbit Train rail. We will be boarding all children who bring a new toy to donate to the toy drive and wear their pajamas in the spirit of the Polar Express story.
The "Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail POLAR EXPRESS" will depart every half hour from the back of the Whistle Stop Cafe'. The ride will include free hot cocoa, a keepsake ticket, and the reading of the story, The Polar Express.
Update: The November dates for this event were such a success that the December dates have already been filled to capacity, and we regret to say that all of the time slots for the December dates have already been filled.
We would like to thank our community and our local businesses for the overwhelming support, and it is our hope that the GHS Swamp Rabbit Polar Express can become an annual event for Travelers Rest. Please stay tuned for next year and Merry Christmas.
