There is a big void of an Ingle's location on the Woodruff Rd. corridor, all the way from Walmart down to Five Forks. Where you already have Walmart, Aldi, 2 Publix and 2 Bi-Lo's. So it is out of my way to follow Butler Rd. all the way into Mauldin. And if I drive into Mauldin, there is yet another Publix and another Bi-Lo. But it would indeed be nice if that Ingle's is upgraded to a superstore status. And on a personal note, I understand Ingle's may be the only local store that carries the Code Red Diet Mountain Dew, so I may be forced to venture over there. All other stores carry the regular Diet Mountain Dew, which I drink also, along with Mello Yello Zero.

Ingle's has missed out on great locations in Greenville County. I think they can still add stores that are the size of their existing Travelers Rest and Landrum stores and not the large size stores in Seneca, Clemson, Laurens, Inman and Chesnee Highway in Spartanburg.

The pharmacy at Ingle's Markets store 239 opened in March. It is the chain's 22nd store with a pharmacy n South Carolina.

Ingle's would be very smart to open on Haywood Road or somewhere close to Verdae now. They were years ahead of their time when they operated at The Gallery in the space formerly occupied by Babies "R" Us. Not only should they return to that area, Ingle's needs to open more stores across eastern and southeastern Greenville County.

Ingle's store 7 on Tunnel Road in Asheville, North Carolina, the one that replaced the previous store 7 at Innsbruck Mall, is doing very well with Asheville Mall nearby.

I think locating on Haywood Road now with more residences would be an excellent opportunity. Ingle's best location would be the site of Lechmere's/Pharmor/Rhode's/Steve & Barry's at The Gallery. Tenants including Lebo's would need to relocate as that part of The Gallery would be demolished to make way for parking. Ingle's Gas Express could be right up at Haywood Road.
