Yeah, kinda pointless thread? Hey, let's keep dragging stuff up and up and up... So instead let's actually make this forum a good forum for people who want to visit, work and live in Greenville.

ps. I went to a school more conservative than BJU. I turned out fine thank you very much.

I think it's rather ridiculous that everyone can't just have an adult conversation about BJU without either burying their heads in the sand or making rude remarks.

Fact is there are a lot of issues there. As clear by the past few months where they were being looked into for sex abuse cover ups. I would hope the community would want to find the truth and put pressure on those in charge to get their act together. Things like that should not be occurring especially at a school that prides itself on Christianity. It not only makes the school look bad but in turn makes Greenville as a whole look bad because its is what many associate with greenville around the country as its the only exposure they have.

Bob jones can do what it wants but is it accredited? I have never thought of this school as a great academic institution.

Interesting......TRACS is not recognized by the CPA Board because it is not a regional accrediting agency. Anyway, like I said, I have never thought of BJU as a high academic school.

Nice try, but the SC Board of Accountancy gave me a CPA license, and I graduated from BJU in 2008. If you think I am lying, call the board's office at 803-896-4770.

It's on the website, they listed accrediting agencies, TRACS was not listed. That's why I asked the question, it was not a "try", don't be so sensitive. In your situation, was this your only degree? Besides, as I have said, it is not a great academic school.

I agree this isn't going anywhere constructive, I'm closing this thread before fighting starts.
