I am interested in Greer SC for our move this summer but have heard positive things about Riverside High but nothing good or bad on Greer High. I did search archives first and nothing came up. Already have jobs so mostly just interested in if both schools are compatible or if I should just look at developments assigned for Riverside. Thanks in advance and looking forward to our move, everyone we met or talked to has been very nice.

I would suggest comparing the state school report cards from the 2 schools as a start: https://ed.sc.gov/data/report-cards/...ct.cfm?ID=2301

Riverside has tended to perform better over the course of time.

Easy one. Riverside is much better in all areas, including parent participation.

"Best" depends on waht you are looking for- older or newer, price range, etc.

Don't really care whether or older or newer. Like beautiful and nature and great people. WE have kids ranging in age from 9-17. Looking at homes in the $400K-ish range. WE are relocating so we have seen nothing.

Thornblade for sure; other neighborhoods you might like are Barrington Park, Sugar Mill, River Oaks.
