Hi folks,

What are the companies in Greenville that provide Internet? Any recommendations or ones to avoid?

Thank you!

At&t or charter. A few spots get both, which is nice since you can jump back and forth for better prices year.

I have access to both Charter/Spectrum and ATT - I have FTTH with ATT and its great - planning to switch to legal IPTV/maybe YouTube TV in the near future (have DirectTV now - picture quality MUCH better/MUCH less compressed than Charter/Spectrum)

I have a Charter Spectrum Internet Ultra plan. I use streaming services like Youtube TV, and often I'm doing work online while streaming a movie or TV show, or participating in a Zoom call. Absolutely no problems with speed (see image link below), and excellent uptime.

Download: 238.89 Mbps
Upload: 19.14 Mbps

The only downside is I found the people at the office on Woodruff highly unpleasant to deal with.

Like everyone else said - Spectrum and AT&T are likely your only options. Unless you're lucky enough to be in an area that AT&T has upgraded to fiber, you will likely only get old school, slow speeds from them.

You will get opinions from both sides - everyone will say AT&T is bad, everyone will say Spectrum is bad. I'm an IT project manager and work with Spectrum, AT&T, Windstream, etc on a daily basis. I've always been tossed around to multiple departments at AT&T, but Spectrum is usually great. And unlike AT&T, Spectrum doesn't have contracts
