Slide the City is returning to Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Saturday, 18 June 2016. This will be the second consecutive year Slide the City has had an event.

It appears the initial point will be East Daniel Morgan Avenue and North Church Street. I wonder which way the slide will go this year.

I believe it will be going down Daniel Morgan this year. Longer and a little steeper hill than Broad Street was last year.

While it looks like a lot of fun, I just can't justify spending $30 and up for a slip and slide per person.

Plenty of free naturally occurring slip and slides in the neighboring mountains without the crowds if you know where to look.
