that is a bad spot for a building, in my view. it is too cramped.

personally i think a bunch of tall buildings in Gville will ruin its character.

I do not see how additional vertical growth buildings would ruin Greenville's character. I have no problem being in a city with vertical growth and character at street level.

I'm generally in favor of more dense growth downtown. That said, this building will interfere with views of the Main St bridge from the Liberty pedestrian bridge and from the park in general. I'd like to see building heights and sightlines controlled along the park corridor. Reedy River Park is currently a big draw for people to downtown Greenville. I'd hate to see over development screw it up.

Could I see the South Main Street bridge at ground level? No; there are many buildings blocking the sight. Could I see it from several levels up? Yes; the view is great, and you can see the Liberty Bridge.

The expansive surface growth concept bandwagon is a mine car going off track. Vertical growth needs to be championed.

I don't like the fact that it will adversely affect site lines, but I'm also not in favor of the property coming off the tax rolls.
