They lost the federal funding $$$ that subsidized service for non-students. The current bus is funded solely by Clemson so it's now only for students. This also resulted in reduced service hours and runs, particularly when school is out of session.

I already live in SC so unfortunately I'm stuck waiting that 6-month waiting period after I get my permit. (I wonder why the waiting period is so long.)

Many states require so many hours of driving time logged by another licensed driver before you can get a license, and/or defensive driving courses, I guess this is South Carolina's way of telling you to get practicing? LOL
