QuikTrip stores in Spartanburg County are still selling octane 87 regular unleaded for $1.899/gallon. I do not know about its stores in Greenville County.

Which specific one? The QT in Duncan (exit 63) raised their price 16 cents to $2.05 before noon. Also, the QT at Boiling Springs (exit 75) is now $2.05 (from $1.96 before lunch).

Not a clear answer but maybe up sooner then last time? QT in Duncan has jumped $0.16 since this morning but nearby stations still 1.89. If I remember from the other months spill QT and Ingles seemed to have most of the spoty gas shortages while everyone else seemed to fair fine.
The pipeline that is still running carries diesel, aviation fuel and the like.. Not gasoline.

Last time, they did send gas through it, and may do it again this time.. but the fact that the second pipeline is running, at current, means nothing for gasoline.

I just bought at the Kangaroo an hour ago at 5 forks (because I was at less than a quarter of a tank) and it was 1.97 though a lot of pumps were out of service.

We are told not to panic buy, but the gas stations force panic by raising the prices hours after the explosion. BP, Spinx and Stop-a-Minute all were up 21 cents in a few hours yesterday to 2.05. Walmart held it's own at $1.86, up only 2 cents.

Went ahead and fueled up there. Sick of prices jumping immediately, then taking weeks to fall back.

I pass 3 stations on my way to work. None are chain stores, and all 3 are generally a few cents higher than most stations, maybe a nickle at the most. All 3 were the same price as they were Monday as of this morning. 2 are $1.92 and the other is $1.95. Havent been over to ether the QT or the 711 on Fairview yet today, but Im going by this afternoon and will post those and the Spinx at the intersection of Fairview and Harrison Bridge.

To be clear, this was not a "leak" but a breech of the line. A backhoe smashed it! I'm in Raleigh today; while we probably have enough gas to get home (thank you 1 tank trips!) we are going to fill up before we leave to come back to Greenville tomorrow. And before anyone starts in with the "don't travel" warning, we are here for medical treatment that cannot be delayed!

According to a local news report on the radio, some stations tie their prices to gas futures which have risen due to the explosion, and some do not.

That Spinx, QT and 7/11 in Simpsonville are all $2.05 right now.
