They were still $1.86 when I went to work yesterday.. $2.05 by the time I came back. ~10am and ~7pm.

There were still a few stations in the $1.89 range that hadn't raised their prices, but none of them were the big chains.

QT seems to be the one that leads the way on price changes.. Either direction. A mouse farts in Texas and they raise prices a penny.

QuikTrip #1118, 12203 Greenville Highway, Lyman, South Carolina 29365-1513, previously had octane 87 regular unleaded at $1.899/gallon.

QT consistently had some of the lowest prices when they first moved into the area. Now they seem to be one of the first chains to raise prices, and they do it at almost all of their stores at the same time. I do like their stores, particularly that they keep them clean but gas is a commodity where most people will buy it wherever it is cheapest.

So, in the end, if you freaked out and panicked and drove to the gas station to fill up when this thread told you to, you may have saved yourself (let's say $.20 times 20 gallons) $4, minus the cost of driving to and from the gas station.
