...which is bizarre, since it's not as if Martin Farms is aiming for anything vaguely upscale. Oh well. I like Culver's. Their loss.
Don't you know the Chili's is the pinnacle of fine dining? Honestly I would rather eat at Culver's than Chili's. Given how busy the Culver's on Woodruff can get, the developer seems to be missing out on a solid tenant.

My wife and I finally tried it the other day. The tacos were great, although the salsa was awfully watery compared to what I'm used to from their Pelham location. I prefer the size and atmosphere of the one on Pelham too.
On Culver's, actually it's our loss! The developer will find something else, but I think Culver's would have done very well there and is a reasonable place to take your family out for dinner. I'm not sure if the owner has given up on Simpsonville. Maybe he will find another accepting location.
Speaking of reasonable places, price wise, I heard Tipsy Taco is not that place? A neighbor went. Said the food was very tasty, but prices where higher than expected and the portions smaller than expected.
Either way, it's not hurting their business. The place looks like it's packed almost every day. Is it the novelty or is the higher prices worth eating there over other Mexican restaurants in the area?

I think Fairview Rd. would be a great location for a Culvers. It is a level above typical fast food and has a good product, burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream. (Custard). Hopefully they will seek another location in that area. I think it was a mistake to reject from Martin Farms.
I haven't been by to check in the last few days but a buddy of mine asked me what else was going into martin farms. He said he saw the Chilis and Credit Union but said he thought more land was being cleared. Again I haven't been by to see what else is going on...any ideas?

You must have missed the post above a new Panera is going there.
We liked Tipsy Taco both times we went. We liked the queso much more than the salsa, and those thin chips are great. We always eat outside because it's too cramped and noisy inside. The prices are high but if we want to save money we just stay at home and fix healthier food at home. I hate all the lazy people that park in the grass. There is plenty of parking in front of Publix and most of us southerners could use the exercise.
I could not tell if the new Panera has opened or not, but Monday night there were 2 or 3 big dumpsters at the "old" Panera location, and it appeared some work was being done inside. I wont be back that way for a couple of weeks, does any know if the new location at Martin Farms is open yet?

I'm not sure if the new Panera is open yet. I can look next time I drive by.
I heard McAlister's is going in the old Panera. Anyone else heard that?
