My husband and I are planning to move to the Upstate area next summer and build a house on property we own there. We'll need an apartment while the house is being built, I'm guessing for between 6 months and a year. We're putting everything into storage, so are looking to rent a 2-bedroom fully furnished place close to Spartanburg. I've checked out a few places and wonder if using this service -- Apartment & Corporate Relocation -- might save us a lot of trouble, since we'll need a fully-furnished place for a limited time. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks very much for any help.

I just did all the footwork on this in the Greenville area and my conclusion was I'm better of getting an unfurnished apartment on a lease vs corporate rental. A corporate furnished studio was $1300 a month, a unfurnished apartment on a short lease (1 bedroom) $1,000 a month. Sure you can find cheaper, I didn't want cheaper, I wanted something that I was comfortable in.

Most furnished apts. still want you to sign a lease. 1 yr. is always cheaper. Short lease, more money.

I didn't want to take a chance on renting a furnished apt. and get stuck with a motel 6 bed. So since I will need a bed anyway after I buy, just buy one now. For the money you save with a unfurnished apt. vs furnished you can out fit with the bare minimum pretty cheap. I have bought 80% of my apts. needs on Amazon and haven't been to the store yet. When I get there next week I will get a good mattress to go with my platform bed frame.
