My wife and I will be relocating to Greenville (Parkins Mill area) and will be looking for cable TV and high speed internet options. Seems I can choose between Spectrum and AT&T. Is this correct? I am not looking for a dish option.... Curious as to others experience with either. I have seen some posts on this topic, but they were a few years old now. Thank you!

I moved into the area end of September (off Woodruff Road), and chose Spectrum internet (200MBPS plan). Good speed, affordable. I dislike AT&T because of experiences in the past and won't do business with them. Last I checked I think I was getting 186MBPS on my Apple TV (better than what I was getting in Illinois with an XFinity high-speed plan), and I can surf the internet or download files on my laptop while streaming a movie or TV show with absolutely no performance hit. Can't speak to their TV offerings because I'm a cable cutter and only have internet with them. DirecTV is also an option in the area, if you want to go that route.

live in the Parkins Mill area

Internet options are Charter/Spectrum and AT&T
My street has fiber/FTTP with AT&T - I have the 1000/1000 plan - the upload speed is great
I have Direct TV and it's superior to Charter/Spectrum (my opinion only) - has Spectrum finally updated their guide?

No, the Spectrum guide is still something out of the 1990s.

I just today am now a cord cutter. Could not stand Charter any longer, although I am still using their Internet. Will be saving about $100 a month using a combo of You Tube TV and Philo.

While Charter/Spectrum is sometimes unreliable they are the best option. Many that have tried AT&T were not happy. I only have internet from Charter. I will never be able to afford cable tv again.

Great combo! Covers almost everything you'll want to watch.

Exactly. Kept looking for a one size fits all but none really fit the bill. I really like YTTV and Philo fit perfectly for the things that it was missing. $56 for both isn't too bad. YTTV was also the only streaming service that had all of the locals from the Upstate (and Asheville).

Philo's a new one to me - I signed up for a trial. They don't have any sports channels, which will be a problem for fans. Also, they only have BBC News and Big News (whatever that is) for news coverage. Their price is great, but the lack of news coverage is a deal breaker for me. I think I'll stick with PS Vue for now.
