hahaha, true. When I was a kid the Whopper was the best ff burger around. Now I wouldn't feed that crap to my dog (if I had one).

Yes, that too but in front of Bi-Lo not Publix. BK also had a location near the 85 ramp onto Woodruff that was in the vicinity of the AT&T store.

Perhaps a Popeyes Chicken? Burger King now owns Popeyes. That would be great for Woodruff Rd, especially since Bojangle's moved further down.

Actually it’s been 5 years. That location closed Jan 2014. I think in that time both the Haywood and Pelham locations have been renovated, so I guess someone is eating at them. Honestly I would prefer BK over McDonalds or Cook Out, but I’m probably in the minority there.

I think this one failed because of poor management. That location's service was awful. It also was in desperate need of a remodel. I'm not a huge fan of Burger King but do prefer their burgers over McDonald's any day of the week.

I'd actually like to see a Steak 'n Shake on that area of Woodruff Road. Culver's kind of fills that void, but can take forever when you're in a hurry for a quick bite at lunch.

All 3 are really poor quality.

Noticed some activity today at the former Checkers/ converted Title Loan building next to Taylors Square. Doors were open and looked like people were looking over some blueprints from what I could tell. For Lease sign was still up though.

I thought it was announced months ago Checkers/Rallys was returning to the upstate with multiple locations. Wonder if they reconsider this former one. It hardly opened before they left before.

I loved Checkers/Rally. The burgers tasted great.

Plans call for 23 new Checkers/Rallys locations in Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg counties within the next few years.
