Such an improvement over the Walmart that was going there before. Can't wait to see who the 55,000 sq ft retailer is. I believe Kohl's was proposed for it at one time and they have been building new and downsizing stores to that size.

Just curious, how do you know it's not Walmart? Maybe I missed something?

Probably not a grocery store since there is no drive thru for a pharmacy which is pretty standard for grocery stores at this point.

They abandoned plans for that site back in 2018 per an article in the Greenville News.

My thought too.
It looks like two bathrooms at the back of the larger store which kind of reminds me of Hobby Lobby stores with the vestibule in the front center too.

Walmart SuperCenters are 150k square feet. The largest building here could be a Walmart Market (normally about that size), but as others have pointed out, it doesn't appear to be a grocery.
