Thanks CK for this update. Looking at the plans, Publix #1717 will be 48,387 sf and include a drive thru pharmacy. Attached retail space to the right of Pubix will be 13,000 sf. total, enough room for 8 tenants. Starbucks will be the first retail store on the right and have patio seating and a drive thru.
A free standing out parcel of 3000 sf will be right at the corner of Standing Springs and W. Georgia. Strange that the main plans say that space is a coffee shop, but the other plans show the Starbucks at the end of the retail shops. So it could just be a generic name on the out parcel for now.
In regards to the construction and opening of Publix #1717, the process could take up to 12 months. If grading of the site is complete by November, construction could start afterward, and Publix #1717 could be open in July or August 2020.

Publix #1717 may offer a first for Greenville County if not the entire state of South Carolina: a supermarket with an elevator. It is among a prototype that has a mezzanine level for dining and lounging accessible by stairs and an elevator.
The next lot along West Georgia Rd is going to be a retail development too. The Reality Suite is asking on Facebook
what stores people would like to see there. Sorry, can't figure out how to share a picture. This is their website link. https://therealtysuite.com/
A user can lease the ground from the property owner, usually for a long time (50-100) years. At the end of the lease, whatever improvements were made to the property (buildings constructed) belong to the property owner. This structure is most commonly used in VERY high demand locations.
