You criticized the French scientist who says hydroxycloriquine drug works but you have yet to give a scientific reason to distrust his criticism of the studies saying it didn't work.
There is no reason to distrust his work, but it is also not scientifically meaningful on its own: he didn't use randomized selections, and it wasn't a statistically significant sample size.

Science is your friend - a single anecdote is meaningless. Results from trials everywhere are being combined and together they will be meaningful. I'd volunteer for a trial of hydroxycloriquine based on the latest knowledge of trial results and doctor's assessment of its possible side effects for me.
Does anyone know what treatments Prisma is using in this area?
Was 65,776 being reported on the cdc site? I looked at cached versions of the page and couldn't find where that number was stated. The Cdc site says it is 1-2 weeks behind.
Another place on the CDC website has the higher number.
If the lower number in the table is wrong, it is surprising the CDC has not fixed it yet given so many people were talking about it on Twitter early this morning.

There is an explanation for the difference. "Note: Provisional death counts are based on death certificate data received and coded by the National Center for Health Statistics as of May 1, 2020. Death counts are delayed and may differ from other published sources (see Technical Notes). Counts will be updated periodically. Additional information will be added to this site as available."
I asked some people on Twitter and got this response:
'The over 60k number includes “probable” deaths from C-19, the # in the table are death cert. received. Which btw also include “presumed” C-19 deaths.'
This is kind of confusing. Why post a number that includes probable deaths.
