It is interesting. We counted 8 billboards in Anderson County along 85. My kids thought it was funny. (23-16 y/o).

Wonder what the cost is for those?

An interstate billboard? Probably STARTING around $2000 a month at a guess.

Of course, I've never seen a TV commercial for a Bucees, so.. Maybe that's where they put all their advertising dollars, which.. Is probably more economical.

Take a look at this one.

BTW folks don't leave your car running outside a convenience store especially with your kid inside. Second time this has happened this week in Greenville.

There is a WAR in Greer!

Price war that is.

At 101 and 85, 7/11 started a war with QT yesterday it appears. Price is $2.41 gallon. Next door Marathon has joined in as well, at $2.43 as of this post.

Not surprising, money grubbing Spinx, on the other side of the interstate, is at $2.79.

I noticed that too. I was over there this past Saturday and the gas price were @ $2.55, and thought to myself there was something going on. Usually gas price there are on the expensive side. Well, that is good for the customers.

Spinx is losing customers with higher fuel prices. Its non-fuel sales would have to be better.

I saw a Circle K at least $0.50/gallon more than its competitors.

That new 7-11 has a new instore fried chicken concept, Raise the Roost. Haven't tried it yet. Also apparently at new Woodruff Rd. location.

Years ago, I-85 exit 63 (SC 290) had the lowest fuel costs along the interstate in South Carolina. Truckers and motorists would frequent travel centers. Increased business and competition helped keep prices low.

I have found prices in Taylors and in Greenville toward Cherrydale to be lower.
