So Spinx is going to build a store unlike anything else in the upstate? I drove by this site a little while ago. The site is larger than the typical Spinx property. And why does Bucee's have an ad for hiring in Greer? Interesting.

I guess Spinx is going to if the real estate developer’s statement is right. I just checked Buc-ee’s website and the only location I see them hiring for is Florence. Not sure where you see them hiring in Greer at. If you could show me a link or pic of this ad that would be great. Here is the site plan: https://i.ibb.co/N6dsVhG/0294-E8-C1-...6-A6-C82-F.jpg Much smaller than Buc-ee’s.

Exactly which means it’s Spinx due to QT already being across the street. I imagine Spinx is going to close their old, small, and run down location across I-85 after this one is built.

Oh well. May have been a fake ad. Lol. Spinx must be building a huge store is it's him

Might be 7-11 They just built that new location at hwy 153 and 85. It would fit with how they are locating their stores.

Spinx is depressing...

When Buc-ee's was mentioned earlier, I had thought it was going where the BPS was supposed to go. The plan for Spinx is across I-85.

Given Spinx is rebuilding other stores in the area this makes sense. A bigger store would make more sense for a truck stop too as you have additional things like showers in truck stops that you won’t find in a run of the mill gas station.

I went into a newer Spinx store recently and it was quite nice. They have clearly had to up their game to compete with QT.

My dad knows the Spinks family, and he manages a few commercial real estate properties in the Upstate. Around twelve years ago, he was talking to Stewart Spinks' son. My dad mentioned that he got a lease inquiry from a company called "QuikTrip." Spinks Jr.'s eyes got real wide.

The newer Spinx stores are nicer indeed. With a full kitchen and good fried chicken. QT is now upgrading their kitchens with more fresh food offerings.

I'm sure that QT had a lot to do with the Spinx renaissance!
