It appears that with 9 public schools making the grade, Greenville County dominates the state on this list. Very impressive, although I still recommend a few of our great private schools over public education.

The Greenville News has finally caught on to the story.

They have a typo in the headline. It is only 1300 Schools in the nation and 9 schools in Greenville County.

South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Math made the list too. It made the public elite list which is actually higher than that list.
