Looks like someone is taking over the former Waffle House/Subway on Woodruff. I noticed the available signs are gone.

I went through the drive thru today. It was funny trying to watch people try to figure out where to enter the drive thru as its further out from the building now. We had to pull over into a curb holding space to wait on tenders (first time ever doing a pullover and wait at a CFA) but a super nice young manager was outside and walked up to the car and started talking to us. He explained they usually cooked tenders fresh to order as there wasn't as big a demand for them as nuggets and sandwiches. He was telling us how they had outgrown that former Hardees building and it was so awkward and bad that they would have to unplug one fryer in order to plug in another piece of equipment to use.

There is a Facebook rumor that Texas Roadhouse is taking over the O'Charley's on Fairvew Rd. in Simpsonville.

Can anyone confirm this?

There wasa full dumpster behind the building Saturday morning, couldnt tell what was in it, but it was gone a couple of hours later. I did see a couple of guys walking around the building at the same time. But thats all I know.

That space seems a bit gridlocked for a Texas Roadhouse, but who knows?

I have heard of Texas Roadhouse planning a location in Greenville. The Taylors location is constantly busy and good. A Simpsonville location would be great.

There really isnt much parking there, and IMO the old building needs a serious remodel to fit the decor of other locations, but its doable.
