Hi there,

My husband and I are planning to relocate from el paso texas to greenville this summer. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on what areas would be good to move to. I have two children and I would like to move to a safe area.

El Paso jobs don't pay good because of the border.
I'm looking to buy under the 100k and would also like to invest.

Do jobs pay pretty could out there? I'm also interested in the property taxes. I currently pay 2900.00 on a property that is worth about 100k.

Thank you in advance for the info.

Yikes on the taxes, however, that's because you don't pay sales tax in TX. They tax the hell out of property owners. You'll pay much less in SC. On a $235K house it's around $1700 to give you an idea.

Jobs pay according to skill and education. The more you have the more you can make.

To buy under $100 you'll need to look around carefully to avoid so called "bad" areas but they can be found. Try Travelers Rest, Simpsonville, and parts of Greer to find affordable houses.
