For those who may happen to be visiting the Upstate this weekend, or those who live here but don't know what is going on yet, below is a list of the well established annual events that are sure to please everyone in the family. If anyone would like to share additional events, please do so. I only listed special events, but there are other weekly events going on at the same time.

- North Carolina Apple Festival - Hendersonville, NC
- Dacusville Farm Days - Dacusville, SC (one of my favorites)
- Great Southeast BalloonFest - Anderson, SC
- HBCU Football Classic - Greenville, SC
- Simpsonville Labor Day Festival - Simpsonville, SC
- South Carolina Apple Festival - Westminster, SC (Sept. 2-6)

My weekend will be all about the Pro Cycling race and Clemson game! Exciting weekend for sure.

The Apple Festival and Furman football. It doesn't get much better than that. I do have to admit that I will be tempted to leave the Furman game a little early to catch at least the 2nd half of the Clemson game.
