My husband and I are still researching our future and have discovered that one of the best areas for high-functioning autistic students is supposed to be within the Greenville school system. As such we ran various college & trade school zip codes through the GI Bill stipend calculator and were a bit taken aback to realize that the cost-of-living based stipend for the Greenville area is between 150-200 less per month than most other N & S Carolina cities we've looked at and most of those in Georgia.
So I'm curious if the cost of living/rentals is really that much cheaper in Greenville than other places in the South/near Coastal areas or is there something I'm missing here?
