I currently have a saltwater fish tank and I can not decide if I should bring it with me when I move to Greenville. There are stores everywhere here in south Florida that sell saltwater fish/coral/supplies, etc but are there any in Greenville? This may be a silly question but I really have no idea what I should do

I tried searching online for fish stores in greenville but it just came up with Petsmart.. and I know they don't sell them. Thanks for your help.

Ocean's Floor next to Quizno's near the intersection of Congaree and Halton Roads sells that kind of stuff. i am looking for a saltwater fish tank myself. i am going thru a divorce after 23 years (no kids) and my wife never let me get a tank so i figured i would start living for me now and get one.

i also have recently been deemed disabled due to a massive seizure i had this past april that shattered BOTH my shoulders!!

please let me know the details on your tank and if you have decided to bring it with you or not on your move. i would be very happy and would take good care of it.

There are alot of places that sell the fish ,but the live rocks are not as easy to come by. I would suggest bringing as much as you can with you. It is costly to start a new tank and selling the one you have only to buy it all back once you get here is not worth it in my opinion. It travels better than you think it would. I bought “homer buckets” from home depot with the lids. If you separate the rocks, fish, crabs, sand....into separate buckets and put the lids on, most everything will survive a few days journey.

The only shop I have been to is "Aquarium Oddities" on Woodruff, great little shop that just moved and doesnt have everything fully setup yet but really enjoyed talking with them when I was in. I agree with rbad moving a tank is always cheaper but twice the work than buying new upon arrival. I will be looking to get back into a tank once we buy a house.
