Hey Upstaters,

Looking for some advice and recommendations on terrifying and unique haunted houses and attractions located in and around Greenville. How about any attractions that combine indoor/outdoors/corn mazes etc? I look forward to hearing your feedback!

In Greenville, visit 'Gates of Delerium' (http://greenville.metromix.com/events/theater_event/haunted-house-gates-of-west-end/1380538/content - broken link) at Warehouse Theater in October.

In Spartanburg County, I have heard about 'The Boneyard Trail of Terror' in Wellford and 'Wompus Woods Haunted Trail' in Cowpens. Haven't seen either place in person.

Treedines in Piedmont is always fun. They have 2 different sides each with their own trail of terror. It is outdoor so make sure to check the weather.

Ah...I went to Wompus Woods several years ago. Gotta love a town called Cowpens, right? It was pretty good...at the end, men with chainsaws (the chains had been removed) chased us. Which normally catches you off guard and scares you, but especially in the event you just got done seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the movie theater right before.

Anybody been to the Nightmare on Pendleton Street this year? How about the scream park with the four attractions between Greenville and Pickens? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
