Saw contractors working on the old Prime Steakhouse on Woodruff Rd (across from Costco).

Anyone (g-man430) know what's going in there?

A restaurant with four locations currently. Don't know the name though. I'll try to find out later who it is.

From the website, it looks like a great addition to the Upstate!

Quote:
The Harry & Jean's restaurant concept was developed by Ralph Meranto and is based on his favorite childhood memories of family meals and special occasions.
The family names of "Harry" and "Jean" are from his Holland Dutch and Scotch-Irish grandparents. The restaurant decor has elements of his grandparents' residence -- the Dining Room, the Parlor, and the Family Room -- with each having its own characteristics and color schemes.
Harry & Jean's food is based on home style meals, each with an upscale flair to distinguish its presentation. The base of the menu, such as Crispy Calamari, Traditional Lettuce Wedge, Lasagna, Smothered Chicken, and a Monte Cristo Sandwich are some of Ralph's favorite foods.
Harry & Jean's offers an extensive wine list and many specialty drinks. Live jazz is also a tradition in honor of Ralph's father who played jazz piano in the Special Services overseas immediately after World War II.

Yes, but Bennigan's had nothing on 2 restaurants near UL in Chicago where I used to work. It's the grease baby; it's the grease! In moderation of course.
