We have a contract on a home which doesn't have enough cabinets in the kitchen for my liking and was wondering, besides Habitat, does anyone know of any other places that may have older cabinets for sale, cheap??
The house was built in 1985 and has Shaker style cabinets. I've attached a picture below if anyone comes across any good sources.
I see cabinets listed from time to time on Craig's List. We'll probably list all of ours when we remodel our kitchen. Finding some that exactly match yours may be tricky, especially if you're trying to match the stain color. You might look into having a cabinet maker build you some. That way you'll get an exact match. If you just need a few, the cost might be surprisingly reasonable. Try Pilgrim Cabinetry, (864) 967-7330. www.pilgrimcabinetworks.com. They custom built an island for us and I was very happy with the work. We are going to use them to custom build all new cabinets in our kitchen for much less than it would be to order premade cabinets.
I hate the humidity. I didn't realize Greenville had high humidity. This is one reason I want to leave south Alabama. You walk outside and stuffy hot air hits you in the face and you feel like you can't breathe. And its muggy yuk! Doesn't make you want to be active outside much which I hate.
Thanks Gaelcat, appreciate the reply and link, I'll check them out
TerrieJ - no problem, I live in Humidity City - come to SOFLA. I'm sure Greenville will be loads better. At least it's not hot and humid almost all year round like it is here!

THANKS!
You might check with come companies that install new cabinets. They might have pulled out some like yours and be willing to give/sell them to you. Try the high end places.
