I am moving to Greenville area in June (Greer) from Apex NC, located in the Raleigh area. It is about 15 miles soutwest of RTP. I love it, I am sad to move, but I do like Greenville for what I have seen so far. I would not move from NC if I did not have to do so.

Hi mel1966: I've been to Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Apex, Cary, etc., and it is very nice over there, but you'll fall in love with Greenville, too. I sure did. I'm one of the ones that Brad Halter referred to in that article with this quote:

"People show up and you ask them how they found Greenville and they say they could have lived anywhere they wanted to but they have been doing some research and visiting some markets and that they have just fallen in love with Greenville, and they're going to move here,"

Hi RestedTraveler: I have fallen love with the area (as much as I can, NC native-feel like I am cheating). I found your pictures on a website(can't remember) and they are awesome!. They were very helpful in getting to know the area without physically being there. My husband has been down there since January and loved it immediately, but then he is not a NC native, he is from Alexandria, Va. The traffic is so much better there than here (hope that doesn't change). We did have a house in Simpsonville, but kinda glad that contract fell through. I think Geer will be a much better fit for us. Thanks for all you do to help everyone fall in love with the area!

Hi mel1966. Glad I can help show you the area through my eyes. That's originally what I set out to do with my photos, but I've branched into other areas since then. LOL That web site would likely have been either greenville.urbanplanet.org or flickr.com, I guess?
