Pediatricians and OB-GYNs that are open to holistic approach?? (Greenville: moving, health)

Any recommendations? Looking for doc's who are open to looking at alternative medicine etc.

You might find what you are looking for with a nurse practitioner too. They can be great and much more people oriented as far as bed side manner goes. I always felt that mine knew me better and remembered details about me and my health much better than the doctors she worked under. I haven't actually been to a doctor in years. I knew if there ever came a time when she couldn't handle something or had doubts, she would call in the doctor.

That's past tense because I haven't looked for a new one since I moved here and will wait because there is a chance I may be moving yet again.

I would highly recommend Parkside Pediatrics (Parkside Pediatrics > Home).

My wife and I brought up that very question during our initial meeting with them before we had our son. We have been extremely satisfied with them, and have never heard anyone say a bad word about them.

I believe they are still the only pediatric practice in the Greenville area, that is not "owned" by Greenville Hospital System.

Go to Natural Awakenings magazine and read all the back issues online. There are some news briefs for some Integrative Medical Docs that I think are in Anderson.

Wish we had more in the Greenville area, but I don't know of any MDs who are holistic minded. What we do have in Greenville are a lot of holistic folks who are brilliant and who lots of different holistic things. Again, check out the Community Resource Guide in the above magazine.
