Red Bowl is a chain, with several restaurants located elsewhere in the Carolinas. Don't expect anything extraordinary.

Oh, I knew that, just wondering how there could be a place with the same name, but obviously under different ownership in the same area within such a short span of time.

I think I have been to a Red Bowl once, at the Village at Sandhills in Columbia. It was good, not great. I would go back.

Drove by too fast to see the name on a sign of a a new place on Wade Hampton in Taylors area, but a little farther up, saw there's a new Habitat for Humanity going in on Wade Hampton as well. Will try to remember to look at the sign and see what's going in the area that I couldn't read the sign tomorrow.

We went to the woodruff rd El Patron the other night, almost no one was there. The waitress acted like a waffle house employee. Maybe shouldnta had that third pot of coffee. She made the ultimate no-no in my book and put a check on the table before we were done eating and before I asked for it. When we go to a nice restuarant the idea is not to get in and out as fast as possible. It was a really bad experience. Papas and Beer was much better. The food was sub-par as well. Very disappointed after what all the people from Anderson were saying.

That it is and pretty popular place too. Has many locations scattered throughout the area.
