I'd never been and wanted to check it out and take my 2 year old to have some fun and was excited to see their free admission coupon in the recent local parent magazine. i was greatly disappointed when i drove the 30 minutes there and realized they are NOT honoring the "FREE" admission coupon. oh they will still tell you it's free admission but you have to PAY $5 per child for a lunch just to get in. VERY DISAPPOINTED! i was furious and left. so fair warning if you plan on going, it won't be free.

Default why?

I took my 4-year old last Monday and her friend and it was completely free. I don't know why they would change it! We are planning on going again next week, and I'll call first.

I noticed a free addmission coloring page for Mondays in March in the Parents magazine. Free addmission is exactly what it says, FREE!!! Was planning on taking the kids on the March 29, 2010. At the bottom the couplon is not good for that day. That is the Monday that kids are out for Spring Break.

Very disappointing. You would think that with economy the way it is today, that they would help out parents by honoring this coupons.

I don't see why anyone would be upset because they specified a day the coupon isn't good for. If that is a day that kids are out of school, they will probably be busy without having to resort to coupons.

Parents ought to think about helping out businesses that cater to families that they would like to see survive the downturn in the economy. If you only go there when admission is free, you aren't helping them survive.

Please take a moment to look at this situation from the business point of view. They are in business to provide a service that hopefully you will want, but they also need to make money to pay their employees, themselves, franchise fees (if they are a franchise) rent and upkeep.

It sounds like they are honoring the coupon chunkybug, but with exceptions, and that is not unreasonable.

Smile Amen....

So true...so many businesses in this economy are struggling to keep their doors open. There are just people out there that are going to take advantage of a situation no matter what it is and complain regardless of what they are given. If everyone gave everything away for completely free..how can anyone survive? Thanks to Monkey Joe's for giving us a break on admission, I will certainly be back..no complaints.

I took my daughter Charlotte there for the Free admission on a Monday. It was Free admission with a purchase of a lunch special for $3.99. So my daughter got to jump, have a hotdog, bag of chips, and an apple juice for $3.99. I don't think this is bad. With my husband losing his job this year every little bit helps. We appreciate what they did and we hope they do it again.

point was "free admission" means free admission. not waste the drive there and find out you've got to pay to get in. we didn't have the money to waste that week and was looking forward to the free admission. if they had stated on the coupon that you actually had to buy lunch to get in we would've went another week. they need to care more in what they advertise and honor it.
