I would love to know where good places to fish are here also - preferably easily accessible places that don't require a boat. In WA I used to be able to just drive up to a large creek/small river and fish right on the bank and catch stuff - that was the best - anywhere to do that around the upstate?

I'm fairly certain that we saw people fishing in a river along the side of 11 / 276 between Cleveland and the turn off to Caesars Head SP. The only fishing I do is at the seafood counter, so I don't know what they would be fishing for, but we saw people there almost every day when we were there last month.
