not trying to spark a city war here, really i'm not but this is funny to me. I work with a ton of guys that transferred from columbia at fedex, they all scoff at this heat and tell me "it could be worse, you could be in hell! a.k.a Columbia!" BTW they love it there and visit all the time, they just hate the heat apparently.

Is it true? I heard earlier today that this month could break the record and become the hottest ever in the Upstate. In all my experience here, this has been the most unbearably long summer I can remember and unfortunately the warmest month (annually) is about to begin.

I'm pretty sure it is the hottest in the 7 years we've been here. We were originally looking at Greenwood, but one day's visit was enough to make us look further north.
